Manhattan Bound: "New York Take Five" at Artexpo New York 2026

As part of this international exhibition, I am pleased to share that the Artavita catalogue will be distributed for free to the art community. This publication features a curated selection of contemporary works, including my painting "NY5F - New York Take Five". This piece explores the syncopated energy and architectural layers of the lifestyle in the city, and I am honored to have it represent my practice in this showcase.

For those who cannot attend in person, you can explore the collection through the digital version of the catalogue provided below.

A Legacy of Artistic Innovation

Artexpo New York is a historic institution. Now in its 49th year, it stands as the world’s original fine art trade show. Since its founding in 1978, it has served as a launchpad for some of the most iconic names in art history—hosting legends such as Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, and Keith Haring. Today, it continues that legacy, transforming Manhattan's waterfront into a global marketplace where artists from dozens of countries converge to define the future of visual culture.

The Opportunity: A Global Introduction

Participating in an event of this magnitude offers a unique threshold for my practice. It provides an unparalleled opportunity to introduce my current direction to a sophisticated global audience of curators, collectors, and fellow innovators. For an artist, Artexpo is where studio research meets public discourse.

While my work is being represented by Artavita at the booth, I am eager to learn how "New York Take Five"—a piece so deeply tied to the spirit of this city—resonates within the electric environment of the New York art scene. I look forward to your impressions and feedback on this new chapter.

Three new paintings from The Observer and the Cosmos series are underway. A look inside the studio, mineral grounds, mulled pigment, mica, and the Artemis threshold.
